MOVICOL Flavour Free is an effective laxative designed for the treatment of chronic constipation and the resolution of faecal impaction. It works by retaining water in the bowel to soften stools, making them easier and more comfortable to pass. Its flavour-free formula allows it to be mixed with any hot or cold drink for convenient use.

How To Use

Open one sachet and pour the contents into a glass.
Add 125mL of water.
Stir well until the powder has dissolved and the liquid is clear or slightly hazy, then drink.
For constipation, the usual dose is 1 sachet a day. This may be increased to 2 or 3 sachets a day if necessary.
For faecal impaction, the dose is 8 sachets a day consumed within 6 hours. Always follow the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

Do not use if you have an obstruction in your intestine, a perforated gut wall, or severe inflammatory bowel disease. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in your diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Always read the label and use only as directed.
