The Medi Pak Hot Cold Pack for Neck provides versatile therapy to help alleviate discomfort. Designed to reduce stress and tension, it may also assist with symptoms related to whiplash and eye strain, offering relief for neck pain and muscle spasms. This pack works by utilizing temperature therapy to help reduce swelling, numb pain, and ease discomfort.
Features
- Provides dual hot and cold therapy for a wide range of applications.
- Cold therapy helps relieve discomfort from headaches, migraines, burns, scalds, toothache, insect bites, RSI pain, muscle aches, sprains, tennis elbow, nose bleeds, prickly heat, and most sporting injuries.
- Hot therapy helps alleviate discomfort from backache, tense muscles, arthritic conditions, and period pain.
How To Use
- **Cold Therapy:** Store Medi Pak in the freezer. Insert into cover. Place on the affected area.
- **Heat Therapy:** Place Medi Pak flat on the turntable only in the microwave, set power on the lowest setting. Heat for 2 minutes. Alternatively, place Medi Pak in a suitable vessel and pour boiling hot water on the pack, resting it in the hot water for 3 – 5 minutes to reach the required temperature.
Warnings
- Discard if punctured.
- Persons with circulatory problems should not use cold compression except as directed by a doctor.
- Do not heat in the microwave for more than 3 minutes at one time.
- Excessive heating may cause the pack to rupture or leak.
