This routing jig is designed to help create precise lock mortises and face-plate recesses on doors. It works with a plunge router and interchangeable templates to achieve accurate and consistent results. The durable construction allows efficient installation of larger locks while helping save time during door preparation.

The Trend LOCK/JIG/A Large Lock Jig from ITS is a contractor jig with interchangeable templates for use with a plunge router to cut the mortise as well as face-plates for larger locks quickly and accurately.

Suitable for DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) lock sizes, the jig includes 20mm x 235mm radius end face plate, 24mm x 235mm radius end face plate and 17mm x 170mm mortise.

The included adaptor plate allows for smaller templates to be fitted and is suitable for doors that are 34mm to 58mm thick. Suits DIN style locks.

The jig needs a ½” plunge router with 80mm plunge, 30mm guide bush with 6mm spigot and 12mm diameter long reach cutter.
