When Nidecker built the Sierra, they set out to make the lightest snowboard boot we’ve ever made, without sacrificing the signature ride feel of the modern Nidecker boot line. The lighter your boot, the longer and harder you can ride. The Sierra is 27% lighter than its predecessor. When you’re dropping weight, it all starts at the outsole. With the Sierra, we gave it our Gravity outsole, which is made out of lightweight and durable EVA. They shaped the lugs in the same way as the rest of our outsoles – by taking cues from our mountain playgrounds, then adapting them to give you as much grip as possible.
