Each chewable tablet contains 250mg sodium alginate, 133.5mg sodium bicarbonate and 80mg calcium carbonate.
Gaviscon tablets are Sugar and Gluten Free.

Indications
Gaviscon tablets bring fast, soothing relief from the burning pain of heartburn and the discomfort of indigestion. Helps protect inflamed oesophageal tissue -helps prevent further inflammation by forming a physical barrier to reflux. The alginate ''raft'' helps to keep gastric contents in place, thereby reducing the likelihood of these irritating the delicate lining of the oesophagus.

Dosage
Adults: 2 tablets as required, after meals and half an hour before going to bed at night, up to 4 times daily. A dose may be increased to a maximum of 4 tablets if required.
Children 6-12 years: 1-2 tablets as required, after meals and half an hour before going to bed at night, up to 4 times daily.
Not recommended for use in children under 6 years.
